Executive Head Chef



Lai’ika Boulton is a passionate and creative Chef with a love for different types of food, having discovered her passion for food at a very young age. Lai’ika pursued her passion for food by getting an education in culinary education at Exeter College in England and France. Studying and mentoring under some of the best Michelin Chef’ such as Michael Cain and Rich Stein. Having worked in some of the best kitchen in Europe such as Royal Clarance, Victoria Hotel, Brend Hotels, etc. and Toronto such as Graydon Hall Manor and J38 Fine Dining; Lai’ika took the Executive/Head Chef position at Hotel Ocho in 2011. Lai’ika’s passion for food is demonstrated through locally grown fresh produce, which shown in her versatile menus and genres of cuisine such as European, Italian, Seafood, French, Pastry, etc.
